"Kicks for Kids" offers soccer classes for kids age 2-6 in Avondale, Chandler (coming soon) Deer Valley, Glendale, Goodyear, North Phoenix, Peoria, Scottsdale, Surprise, and Tucson.
Each week kids stretch, run, play fun games and learn skills such as dribbling, passing & kicking. We focus on teamwork, motor coordination and listening skills. This class has become so popular that we now offer multiple classes per session and many locations have year round sessions. Currently Kicks 4 Kids Soccer, offers both "Kicks for Kids I" and also the advanced "Kicks for Kids II". The advanced class focuses on more advanced skills and offers real soccer games each class . Each class is 45 minutes and runs for 6 weeks. Participants get a T-shirt and a soccer medal at the end of the session (except Phx classes). In Surprise (only), we offer a fall & winter soccer league (ages 2-9) along with a Cheer program (ages 4-8).

Jonathan Kaplan created and runs Kicks 4 Kids Soccer LLC. He has been the primary instructor but as classes have expanded, more instructors have been hired. He is the father of two kids living in Surprise. Jonathan has played soccer since the age of 8, has coached youth soccer in CT, MA & AZ and even worked for the Connecticut Wolves Minor League Soccer Team. He has a M.Ed. in Education and is a member of the National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA). Sharon Kaplan runs the Kicks 4 Kids Cheer Program. She has a Master’s of Education (Elementary Ed) from Lesley University and is a 1st Grade teacher at Carden Traditional School (Surprise). Sharon coaches Cheer at Carden and as a child did cheer, gymnastics & dance. Before becoming a teacher she worked in youth programs.
